An economics graduate from the Université Libre de Bruxelles, Guy joined Banque de Luxembourg in 1986 where he was head of the Financial Analysis and Asset Management departments. He was appointed Managing Director of BLI – Banque de Luxembourg Investments in 2005.

Portfolio Manager

A native of the South of France, Fanny has been working in Luxembourg since 1997. Following a stint at a French bank in Luxembourg, Fanny joined Banque de Luxembourg in 2000, where she specialised in fund analysis and funds of funds management, before being appointed head of the investment funds team at BLI. Fanny has a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Nancy in France. Via an exchange programme with the Faculty of Applied Economics at the University of Aix Marseille III, she obtained her first degree from the University of McGill in Montreal, Canada.

Equity Fund Manager

Following two years as portfolio manager and investment advisor at Banque Degroof Luxembourg, Ivan joined Banque de Luxembourg in 2000 as a financial analyst. Since 2004, he has been in charge of European equity investments for the Bank's funds range. Ivan has a degree in Business and Finance from the ICHEC University in Brussels. In 2000, he obtained his CEFA (Certified EFFAS Financial Analyst) diploma and he has been a CFA (chartered financial analyst) charter holder since 2006.

Equity Fund Manager

Steve joined Banque de Luxembourg’s Financial Analysis and Asset Management department in 2001. Since 2011, he has been in charge of Japanese equity investments for the Bank's funds range. Between 2005 and 2010, he was co-manager of US equity investments for the Bank’s funds range. Steve has a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialisation in business management, and a doctorate in technical sciences from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH Zurich). He obtained the CEFA (Certified EFFAS Financial Analyst) diploma in 2002.

Senior Fund Analyst

Fabrice began his professional career in 2006 at Banque de Luxembourg Investments. Following a degree in Economics from the University of Metz in France, he went on to specialise in finance with a post-graduate degree in Financial Products from the University of Angers in France, where his final dissertation focused on multi-management. With his background, Fabrice's move to Luxembourg seemed only natural. Fabrice analyses European equity funds and absolute-return funds.

Portfolio Manager

Following degrees in Master in Business Engineering from the Louvain School of Management in Belgium and the University of Lappeenranta in Finland, Tanguy began his professional career in 1999 at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in the tax and financial audit department for banks and investment funds. Two years later, he accepted a post as fund analyst at Banque de Luxembourg, where he quickly specialised in the emerging markets. In January 2005, he was appointed fund manager of BL Fund Selection - Asia and in December 2009 he took over the management of the flexible defensive fund, BL Fund Selection 0-50.

Fund Manager

Luc joined Banque de Luxembourg in 1996 as a bond trader, before moving into managing bond portfolios. Since 2005, he has been in charge of US equity investments for the Bank's funds range. Luc has a degree in Economics and Business Management from the Université Louis Pasteur in Strasbourg, France.

Fund Analyst

Originally from Lyon, France, Matthieu left his home town in 2004 to study at the IESEG School of Management in Lille, France. During his studies, he spent time in Canada and the US where he acquired a taste for international business and honed his financial knowledge. On his return to Europe, Matthieu spent some months at Banque de Luxembourg’s Portfolio Management department. He returned in 2009 to complete his final internship as part of his degree course. In the same year, he obtained his Master of Science degree with a specialisation in Finance.

Matthieu then embarked on a career at a large audit firm in Luxembourg where he specialised in investment funds. He joined BLI - Banque de Luxembourg Investments in summer 2010 as a fund analyst.

Head of Equities

After nearly four years as financial analyst at Banque Générale du Luxembourg, Joël joined the Asset Management department of Banque de Luxembourg in 1999. With the creation of BLI - Banque de Luxembourg Investments in 2005, Joël took charge of the Equity team, which manages equity and mixed funds. Joël graduated in Management from the Ecole de Commerce Solvay in Brussels in 1995, and in 2004, he earned the CFA (chartered financial analyst) charter.

Bond Fund Manager

Thierry joined Banque de Luxembourg in 1999, where he specialised as an analyst focusing on bond funds selection and covered bond investments in our multi-management portfolios. In 2007, he joined the fixed income team as a fund manager. In 2010, having built up the role of product specialist, Thierry took over the responsibility for investment communication on our fund range.

Thierry has a degree in agricultural engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH Zurich) and in economics from the HSG in St Gallen. He obtained the CEFA (Certified EFFAS Financial Analyst) diploma in 2003.

Fixed Income Fund Manager

Following his Master’s degree in Business Engineering from the Louvain School of Management in Belgium, Jean-Philippe joined Banque de Luxembourg’s Asset Management department in 2001. Three years in the Financial Analysis department convinced him of his ambition to become a fund manager. In 2003, he moved into portfolio management and currently he manages the bond funds of the BL-funds range, including BL-Global Bond, which has won a string of awards in Europe, including best euro-denominated bond fund in Europe.

Fund Manager

Marc is fund manager at BLI. After a degree in civil engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH Zurich), Marc worked for a short time in industry in Zurich and New York. After his Master''s degree in Management from King's College, London during which he discovered the world of finance, Marc returned to Luxembourg in 2002 where he took up a post as fund analyst at Banque de Luxembourg. Marc obtained his Certified International Investment Analyst (CIIA) diploma in 2005 and has been in charge of emerging market equities since 2007.

Director

Dieter is Director at BLI - Banque de Luxembourg Investments. He has a degree in mathematics from the University of Karlsruhe and a Master of Science in Banking and Finance from the Luxembourg School of Finance. Dieter began his career in the field of insurance before joining Banque de Luxembourg in 1996 where he was in charge of bond management.

Fund Analyst

Following her MBA in Finance and Business Management from the University of St Gallen in Switzerland, Claudine began her career in 1998 at Julius Baer IFS in Zurich. After two years as an assets/liabilities consultant at KPMG, she moved to Paris to join the Marketing team at Société Générale Asset Management, where she held various roles. In 2003, she headed up the RFP (request for proposals) team and in 2006, she became a product specialist on in-house bonds and money-market expertise. Following the merger with Crédit Agricole AM, Claudine was head of the client marketing team at Amundi. In 2011, she joined Banque de Luxembourg Investments, where she is a bond funds analyst.
