Some initiatives resulting from our engagement:

• The "Seizing the opportunity for philanthropy in Luxembourg" symposium (2008), which had a positive impact on the Luxembourg philanthropy landscape in practical, fiscal and regulatory terms.
• The "Responsible Leadership in times of change" symposium (2009), which brought together the heads of 200 European foundations to discuss financial challenges, governance issues and foundations’ missions.
• The organisation of the annual European Venture Philanthropy Association congress in Luxembourg (16-17 November 2010) and the launch of the European Impact Investing Luxembourg initiative, designed to promote impact investing in Luxembourg and the role of the financial centre in this area.
• The launch of a dedicated philanthropy website www.philanthropie.lu designed to inform the public about developments in philanthropy, particularly in Luxembourg.
