Code of ethics

Custodians of our clients' assets, we above all value their trust. Our cautious investment management strategy, which avoids fashionable trends, targets capital protection and focuses on our clients' best interests.

We are private banking experts specialised in wealth management. We do not engage in proprietary investments or trading. Client deposits are reinvested in a diversified fashion with the Central Bank, in government bonds and with other quality counterparties. Our risk management policy is subject to strict rules and the bank has never developed an extensive lending business.

Various internal departments are in charge of monitoring management activities at the bank (Internal Audit), risk control (Risk Management) and ensuring compliance (Compliance).

The bank's annual accounts are reviewed by an external auditor according to international auditing standards. Audits focus on banking risks and financial aspects, and also cover organisational and internal controls.

The bank is also subject to supervision of the CSSF, the Luxembourg financial supervisory authority. The CSSF is the authority in charge of prudential supervision of financial institutions, other financial sector professionals and undertakings for collective investment.
