Banque de Luxembourg
through its architecture

The architecture of Banque de Luxembourg's four sites is both an expression of its identity and its history. In other words, a bank on a human scale whose growth has been defined by its clients. Each of our buildings reflect the interpretation of renowned architects of their vision of the bank and the urban fabric of which it is a part.

Banque de Luxembourg extends headquarters

Sixteen years after our head office was inaugurated at 14 Boulevard Royal, Banque de Luxembourg has embarked on a new important stage of its development with the construction of a new building on the adjoining property located at the corner of Boulevard Royal and Avenue Emile Reuter. The building will provide the office space required to bring the Bank’s sales teams together on one site in the centre of the city.

The design of the new building was entrusted to architects Arquitectonica (Miami) and Christian Bauer & AssociƩs (Luxembourg). The building will fit into the existing urban landscape and the chassagne stone cladding will provide a link between the new building and the stone facades of the adjoining buildings.

The construction will comprise seven floors above ground for a total surface of 7,000m² and four underground levels. The ground floor will be entirely dedicated to a branch for Luxembourgish clients. The building works will be completed at the start of 2012.
