Making your philanthropy project a reality

Are you planning to give some of your assets to a charitable cause? Would you like to share your knowledge and interests with others?

We can advise you on the partial or total implementation of your philanthropy project.

Before making the right donation you need to have a clear idea of your project. This involves:

  • Defining your donor profile
  • Structuring your project
  • Managing your donation

Below, we examine the various aspects of your philanthropy engagement (using the methodology developed together with wise partnership).

  • Analysis of donor motivations, interests and financial resources
  • Determining strategies and areas of involvement
  • Opportunity to meet other donors
  • Defining the outline of a project portfolio
Philanthropic projects are the result of a personal approach and often deeply-held aspirations. To ensure that your aspirations and hopes are transformed into real commitment, Banque de Luxembourg
has developed a methodology together with the "wise partnership" to help define the framework of your project.
  • Project implementation analysis
  • Possibility to determine the type of financing (investment vehicle, investment fund, etc)

Glossary

NM - Articles Liste

The term "social entrepreneurship" covers all kinds of activities that have a 'social benefit'. "Social entrepreneurship" is not in itself a new phenomenon but a new term for something that has existed throughout time. Social entrepreneurs offer innovative solutions to the most pressing problems of our society.

Social finance encompasses all investment techniques that generate social and/or environmental value and returns. The best-known social finance investment categories are socially-responsible investment (SRI), micro-finance and, more recently, venture philanthropy.

Philanthropy can be defined as giving money and assets to create social, cultural or environmental impact without necessarily expecting a return.
