Talking about intrapreneurship
As part of a series of podcasts dedicated to the Next Gen, ALFI (Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry) is devoting an episode to an increasingly strategic topic within large organisations: intrapreneurship - or how to promote innovation and change from within.
Sofia Souici, Associate Business Development Manager at Banque de Luxembourg, and Mathilde Scheirlinck, Senior Associate – Attorney at Law at Loyens & Loeff, share their views on intrapreneurship in light of their respective careers and expertise in business, and explore different ways of transforming organisations by harnessing entrepreneurial spirit for the collective benefit.
Intrapreneurship as an essential lever
At a time when companies are facing profound transformations – be they technological, cultural or environmental – intrapreneurship is emerging as a critical lever for encouraging agility, freedom of expression and initiative.
"For me, intrapreneurship is about having an impact from within. It means having an entrepreneurial mindset, but within the structure of a large organisation. What I find exciting is the idea of adding your own brick to a wall that is already being built but which can constantly be reshaped – something that existed before you and which, I hope, will continue to grow after you. You're contributing to a bigger story but you can still influence it in your own way," explains Sofia Souici.
Their discussions offer a fresh perspective on the opportunities, challenges and levers available to all those who want to instigate change from within.
Becoming a driving force for change
"Striving for excellence and growth in your work – not just for yourself, but also for your team and your organisation – fosters a mindset that gives you the confidence to speak up and become a driving force for change," adds Mathilde Scheirlinck.
