One of Luxembourg's leading private banks, Banque de Luxembourg is now offering an account aggregation service via the BL Mobile Banking app.
What is account aggregation?
A legal requirement since 2019, the European Payment Services Directive (PSD2) was designed to enhance consumer protection and to facilitate online banking and payment services.
The Directive, which promotes wider access to banking data (open banking), has led to the development of account aggregation services. Free to use and highly secure, account aggregation gives you a consolidated view of your entire financial situation.
What are the advantages?
With account aggregation, you have access to real-time information on accounts you hold with other banks in Luxembourg, including account balances and a summary of your financial situation – all on one screen and in real time.If you hold accounts at BCEE, BGL BNP Paribas, BIL, ING Luxembourg, Post Luxembourg or Banque Raiffeisen, the service is available from October 2020.
Simplify your budget management
Account aggregation saves you time, as you no longer need to download several banking apps on your smartphone.
