On 25 and 26 March, the Cancer Foundation is organising a hybrid version of the Relay for Life. Find us online or meet us in person to make the most of this community fundraising event.
Founded in 1994, the Cancer Foundation has been providing information and raising awareness among the general public for almost 30 years, offering practical advice to patients and their families, financing research and calling on the authorities to fight cancer together.
Relay for Life — a new hybrid format
The Relay for Life is an annual fundraising event in which teams walk, run or cycle in relays for 24 hours, symbolising the long journey of the patient. After the experience of the pandemic, this year's Relay is operating in a hybrid format. Participants can take part in person at La Coque, Luxembourg’s National Sports and Culture Centre, or online wherever they are, anytime over the weekend, for a cumulative total of 24 hours.
Commitment through individuals and as a community player
Aware of its responsibilities to all its stakeholders, Banque de Luxembourg has partnered the event since day one, and this year is no exception. The Bank is responding to the call not just with a financial donation, but also at a personal level: three teams of runners and more than 100 volunteers at the various stations are contributing their time and energy to the success of the 2023 Relay for Life.
