Banque de Luxembourg has been a partner and founder member of the EME Foundation (Ecouter pour Mieux s’Entendre – Listen, so as to understand each other better) from the outset. The Foundation will be celebrating its 10th birthday on 8 and 9 February. Join us for a charity concert and Family Day.
What is EME?
The EME Foundation was founded in 2009 by the Philharmonie with the aim of developing music as therapy. The idea is to bring music to people in places where they don’t usually have the opportunity to hear music, such as hospitals, retirement homes and hospices, immigration centres, prisons, and to the eldery who are living alone etc. EME's activities focus on four groups of people: seniors, those who are sick, the disabled and the socially disadvantaged. Its private “Musek schenken” concerts are given by professional and amateur musicians, all on a charitable basis.
10th birthday party!
2019 marks ten years since the creation of the EME Foundation. The celebrations will run over two days and you are warmly invited to join in.
