Nicolas Ruggieri

Nicolas Ruggieri was appointed to the Bank’s Board of Directors in February 2024

A graduate of Sciences Politique in Strasbourg, Nicolas began his career in 2003 at General Electric’s real estate division in Milan.

In 2005 he joined Covivio, a Paris-based company in the Batipart Group, where he headed up asset management, before taking on a range of other finance roles between 2005 and 2010. Nicolas then went on to develop Eurosic, a listed property company, and took it from €1 billion in assets in 2011 to over €7 billion in 2017. Since the sale of Eurosic to Gecina in 2017, he has led property development projects in Europe for Batipart, working with strategic investment partners through special investment vehicles.

In June 2021, Nicolas was appointed Executive Managing Director of Batipart, a firm that invests in property, hotels and tourism projects in Europe, Africa and North America. The Batipart Group has €4-5 billion in assets under management.

He also sits on the boards of other companies in the Batipart Group.
