Philippe Hoss
Philippe Hoss joined the Bank’s Board of Directors in August 2017. He also chairs the Appointments and Compensation committee.
Philippe is a partner at law firm Elvinger Hoss & Prussen (Luxembourg), which he joined in 1987. He specialises in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, banking and finance. Philippe produced the first published English translation of the Luxembourg Law of 10 August 1915 on commercial companies and all its subsequent updates.
At 31 December 2024, he was a director of a number of Luxembourg-regulated funds, of Bemberg Capital (formerly Quilvest S.A.) and of Union Bancaire Privée (Europe) S.A.
Philippe is also active on the boards of foundations, including the André Losch Foundation, the Fondation André et Henriette Losch, and the children's cancer charity, Fondation Kriibskrank Kanner.
