Travel with peace of mind. The extensive insurance provided with your payment cards gives you essential protection, no matter how or where you are spending your holidays. Here are some tips to help you use your card smoothly and wisely.
Set a new, temporary monthly credit limit
The monthly limit on your credit card is usually decided with your banking adviser when you first sign up for the card. However, it is possible to increase or decrease it on a temporary basis when you go on holiday. This can be done by contacting your banking adviser on (+352) 49 924 1 or via the BL Mobile Banking app.
Find out about the insurance linked to your card
Most people are not fully aware of the insurance cover linked to their payment method. To ensure you are covered, you must use your card to pay for your holiday. Insurance, travel assistance and protection limits depend on the type of card you own. To avoid duplicate costs, before purchasing extra insurance from your travel agent, it is better to find out about the insurance linked to your card.
