Banque de Luxembourg has a keen sense of its responsibilities in the economic life of Luxembourg, providing support to partners active in humanitarian, social, economic, sports and cultural fields. Its tradition of commitment in the life of the city is a reflection of its gratitude to the community that provides the framework for its development.
Spotlight on the charitable world
Many of the partner associations and charities that the Bank supports celebrated milestone anniversaries in 2019: 10 years for the Fondation EME, 25 years for ADA, 45 years for SOS Villages d'Enfants Monde, 25 years for Fondation Cancer to name but a few. This presents an opportunity to review their missions, projects and vision, and consider how Banque de Luxembourg can best contribute.
From 3 December to 3 January, #MAKEAWISH will be turning the spotlight on the Bank's partnerships.
Commitment and high standards
People are at the heart of the Bank's concerns: its clients of course, but also its employees, counterparties and society as a whole. This people-centred culture is expressed in a variety of ways: not just with financial support but also through material and in-kind contributions like the provision of expertise and volunteering by employees. The Bank in turn takes inspiration from the very different work of its partners, their philosophies and their approaches. In 2020, the Bank will continue to pursue its charitable objectives, maintaining its commitment and high standards.
