Encouraging interaction with students for new sources of innovation
The younger generation is a rich seam of inspiration for meeting tomorrow's innovation challenges. Banque de Luxembourg has developed close ties with universities to encourage the contribution of new ideas.

As part of our collaboration with Schoolab, a multidisciplinary programme involving several leading French universities, five students from ESSEC Business School, Centrale Supélec (engineering), Epitech (IT expertise), ESCP Paris (European business school) and the Sorbonne, had the opportunity to respond to a challenge aimed at exploring the potential of the younger generation. After six months of collaboration and regular discussions with the Bank's digital and marketing teams, the students presented their analyses and set out their ideas for concrete, feasible solutions.

By drawing on young people’s fresh ideas and external perspectives, we gain a greater appreciation of the needs and expectations of a target group that is particularly important for the Bank. The students came to Banque de Luxembourg in March to present their ideas. This project is the fruit of six months’ collaborative work with Banque de Luxembourg teams and demonstrates the Bank's pro-active ambitions to look to the future.

Schoolab is an innovation studio that trains, advises and supports businesses. Its network encompasses an international community of over 1,000 entrepreneurs, directors, academic experts and students in 24 different countries.
