The Bank’s General Terms and Conditions have been amended* to take into account the new regulations on shareholders’ rights (SRD II) and on reportable cross-border arrangements (DAC 6) as well as the changes to our services concerning the methods of accepting electronic signatures, the access to information from third-party service providers under the Payment Services Directive (PSD 2) and the outsourcing of certain activities.

These amendments will take effect on 1 October 2020.

* The amendments shall be considered as approved if we receive no objection from you prior to the entry into force of such amendments.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

With a view to updating the Bank’s Execution Policy (now in Appendix 3 of the General Terms and Conditions) and adapting certain articles, in particular the article concerning the policy for managing conflicts of interest (Article 38), the Bank’s General Terms and Conditions have been amended [1].

The changes will take effect as of 1 December 2020.

In addition, the changes described below will come into force on 1 January 2021.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS GOVERNING PAYMENT CARDS

With respect to the validation of credit card purchases online using 3D Secure technology, the General terms and conditions governing payment cards have been amended to take into account the development of 3D Secure technology [2]. As of 1 January 2021, all online transactions will be validated using the LuxTrust Mobile authentication solution, rather than by text message.

These amendments will take effect on 1 June 2020.
