Banque de Luxembourg offers Apple Pay, a free mobile payment system which you can use in shops and online. To access this service, all you need is your Banque de Luxembourg payment card and a compatible Apple Pay device.*
Make payments easily with Apple Pay
Apple Pay is a payment service that you can use with your Banque de Luxembourg VISA cards. When you use Apple Pay, you will continue to enjoy all the benefits of your Banque de Luxembourg payment card.
Your payments are secure and private
Apple Pay is completely safe. Your card details are never stored on your device or shared during the payment. The integrated Touch/Face ID reader allows you to identify yourself using fingerprint or face recognition for secure payments.
How to add your Banque de Luxembourg card to Apple Pay
Open the BL Mobile Banking app, select your card and follow the instructions.
Alternatively:
- On iPhone, open the Wallet app and tap the “+” sign.
- For Apple Watch, open the Apple Watch app on your iPhone and select “Wallet & Apple Pay”, then tap “Add Credit or Debit Card”.
- On iPad, go to Settings, open “Wallet & Apple Pay” and select “Add Credit or Debit Card”.

On Mac: go to System Preferences, select “Wallet & Apple Pay”, then tap the “+” sign to add a card.
How to pay using your Banque de Luxembourg card and Apple Pay
Use Apple Pay wherever you see one of these symbols:
- You can pay with your iPhone or Apple Watch anywhere that accepts contactless payments.
- Apple Pay is also a safe, fast way to pay online and in mobile apps without having to create an account or fill out forms.
How to pay with Touch ID
To pay with Touch ID, hold your iPhone near the reader with your finger on Touch ID.
How to pay with Face ID
To pay with Face ID, double-click the side button, glance at your screen, then hold iPhone near the reader.
